Established Independent School near Seoul, Korea seeks an experienced native English language teacher

Date of Job Posted: Friday, March 16, 2018

I like teachers and "school" (after school private academy) who have experience teaching English in Korea. Here are some of the advantages and requirements of working in our school.

E2 or F visa holders.

Location - Yangpyeong is 30 minutes away by train from Seoul, which is located in Gyeonggi province, which surrounds the city. It is excellent for accessing the idyllic countryside where the city and country environment are mixed. Many Seoul residents choose to live here for the convenience of urban facilities, as well as easy access to massive bike trails, mountain trekking, and a variety of outdoor activities. The village has two attractive main riverside parks along the South Rivers and all the amenities you would expect from a well-developed small city in the United States. In addition to Korail trains, there are Kyunggi-do Chuang Line (part of Seoul subway) and Shinkansen (KTX).

Housing - offers the latest housing.

Management - School owners are Americans (Korean) and Koreans. They like management style that is out of reach and can help the teacher as needed.

Students - Students of all ages, from kindergarten to adult. The size of our class is small - up to 10 and some small. Our teacher can see the same student from Monday to Friday every week at the same time and can make many improvements in a short time.

Curriculum - We use internationally produced textbooks, and teachers are free to teach materials in great discretion. There is space in the curriculum for teachers to implement their ideas.

Teams - We are a small school with a tightly woven team that maintains close working relationships.

Salary - 2.1M start negotiation possible

Insurance and pensions - Four major insurance policies (health, employment, pensions, labor safety and sanitation) are included in the package.

Retirement Allowance - Employees who have worked for more than one year on FSES will receive a severance pay upon retirement.

Vacations - Wages increase once a week for two weeks in summer and winter

Time and Conditions - In principle, it is from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. There may be an early exit at 5:30 AM or 6:00 PM. This is also dependent on your teaching schedule. There is no weekend.

For more information about the school, please visit www.fses.co. You can contact us by e-mail (fseschool773@gmail.com) or by phone (031 773 7776). We would like to contact former teachers if we have specific questions about working conditions.

If you are interested in applying, please send your resume to fseschool773@gmail.com.
