British Council needs English teacher to work as per our operational need in Seoul, Korea

- Cambridge CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent (this must include face-to-face mapping exercises)
- High proficiency in English (ie, four skills for the user) Full Skills (CEFR C2) IELTS band Academic module 4 sections each 8/9
- Undergraduate / University Degree
- 2 years full-time related post-certification teaching experience at various levels including young learners' classes

[Major tasks]

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English education to meet the needs of diverse customer groups, taking into account individual learning styles
2. Monitor progress and provide periodic feedback to manage the performance of the entire course and actively promote learner autonomy
3. To contribute to the development, evaluation and improvement of English textbooks and related services, and to actively work as a member of the teaching team to meet student needs
4. Complete administrative tasks related to the specified criteria
5. Engage in professional development and performance management to maintain the status of British Council at the forefront of the best ELT practice
6. Contributing to the development of lasting and mutually beneficial relationships by enhancing students' understanding of modern England
7. Supporting a training center team to support local marketing and promotional strategies and provide excellent customer service.
8. Ensure that the protection guidelines are applied and supported in accordance with the following standards and policies:

The British Council currently has three YL faculty centers in Seoul.
Young learners' activities are located in the historical center of Seoul. Seven classroom young learners branch. Located on the north side of the Han River near the Seoul City Hall, there are two youth learning bases in the south of the river. Seven classrooms. Youth development school is located in Mokdong. . [Other key features and requirements]

Our center is open 7 days a week. The current class starts at 1 pm on weekdays and ends at 7:40 pm. The weekend is from 9:00 am to 6:45 pm. Each class is 90 minutes long and the number of classes you teach depends on availability.

The British Council requires teachers to be paid on a timely basis to work according to our business needs, which often involve changes in the weekend. There is a strong teacher training program with both regular in-house training and external qualifications for adults (DELTA) and youth (TYLEC). British Council Korea supports both financially and financially for qualified teachers who have agreed to the Terms and Conditions. British nationals must apply for UK DBS checks. Citizens of other countries should strengthen the information disclosure of the country. Also, the new teacher must acquire the police in all of the currently inhabited countries.

End date: In progress
Term of contract: 1 year
Duration: 12 hours a week (negotiable)
Salary information: 40,000 ~ 48,500 won per hour depending on qualification / experience of the teacher
