Country of Job Position: Turkey

Let's spend an exciting summer at the children's English training camp at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey!

We are looking for a native English teacher who will help you write a 3 month summer camp for 3 months for children from all over Turkey. The job description is as follows. Questions and requests can be sent to mentor supervisor Warren Oliver (boliver@ku.edu.tr).

Our summer program supports practicing English through indoor activities with low physical abilities such as outdoor activities like 4-13 year old participant golf or soccer, drama, photography and conversation class. Social development without additional burden of testing and testing. This age group has two programs at the same time: summer camp program and intensive admissions program.

Summer Day Camp Program:
The English Language Learning Center (ELC) at Cosa University offers participants from 4 to 11 years of age an opportunity to practice their English on a daily basis with native speakers. Balance the activities that emphasize physical, social and artistic abilities by changing the scope of activities taking into consideration the repeat participants.

Our goal is to be willing to distract our camping while practicing English. We are trying to avoid the common sport that participants are likely to have had previous knowledge to avoid unnecessary competition. We believe in the process of learning a foreign language and social interaction. Especially for young learners, we gain great advantage in judgment and competitive environment, and we try to keep the camp as pleasant as possible.

In addition to internationally recognized English teachers (through TEFL, CELTA or equivalent programs), teachers need previous experience with 4-11 year old students and camp counseling experience. This ensures that the teacher of this particular program can adapt the curriculum appropriately to a particular group and lead the mentor team well outside the classroom. Our leaders help participants reach new horizons with participants on campus during the day. However, it is up to the teacher to assist the executive in that the leader is guaranteed to achieve this goal.

The Day Camp program is held from 08:30 to 16:30 on weekdays. The teacher is involved in each activity group and is responsible for one hour of English conversation class every day. Here is a typical schedule sample schedule for this program:

Day Camp Sample Program
08:30 -09: 00 = See you

Intensive boarding program:
The Curse University English Boarding Program (ENLC) offers participants ages 9-13 with the opportunity to practice their English with native speakers and teachers' leaders and outreach activities. Our participants enjoy the convenience of practicing English without exam levels and other barrier restrictions. The annual update schedule supports cognitive, physical and social development. Participants from 9 to 13 years of age who have an English speaking background and are fluent in novice speaking, reading, and writing skills are offered five hours of class every week. Our native teacher encourages the development of conversational skills. Create vocabulary using reading of topics and vocabulary of various preselected activity courses. After class, our participants will participate in afternoon and evening activities, which are carefully selected outdoors settings.

This is a unique learning opportunity for our ELC for Kids Intensive Boarding program participants. Provides the opportunity to develop English skills not included in the school year, with guidance from native speakers engaged in discussion-based learning with a diverse group of talented peers. We pay particular attention to planning activities in terms of physical, social and artistic balance.

Teachers must be internationally recognized as English teachers (through TEFL, CELTA or equivalent programs). Experience so far has experienced camp counseling with students aged 9-13. This ensures that the teacher of this particular program can adapt the curriculum appropriately to a particular group and lead the mentor team well outside the classroom. Since 6 hours of English classes are functioning as a pair of teaching methods, it is important that teachers are able to connect well with others. Therefore, the experience of group work and team building is considered an asset to any teacher.

The intensive boarding program is held for teachers on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:30. In the morning, the teacher accompanies lunch together to teach English conversation lessons in an established curriculum provided by a pair of managerial positions.
