Seeks qualified EFL teachers to begin at the beginning of May for a minimum of five months in Ecuador

The New York English Learning Center (New York ELC) is a nonprofit educational institution designed to help students understand English. Many schools have between 40 and 50 students per classroom and do not learn. The policy here is less than 10-15 per classroom.

New York ELC is recruiting qualified EFL teachers in early May for a minimum of 5 months.



Located in Machala, Ecuador coast. It is a small city of about 180,000 people and is considered the musical capital of Ecuador. Loja can enjoy spring-like temperatures all year round.



Available locations:

EFL teachers for children, teens, and adults. The child starts at 4 years old. There are groups from 4 to 5 years old, from 5 to 6 years old, and from 7 to 8 years old. These are at 3 pm. After that, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm classes are over 9+. Two hours of intensive classes from 7 am to 9 pm are likely to be teenagers or adults. We inform Cambridge ESOL curriculum.



Eligibility: Bachelor's degree, TEFL / CELTA / TESOL or other relevant certificate. Native English speakers or fluent English speakers should be. Desired qualifications include experience teaching work experience, grammar, pronunciation, speaking, and listening at all ages, from age 4 to adult. Spanish knowledge preferred



Duty: 5 hours per day from Monday to Friday, additional tutorials and Saturday classes. Teachers are prepared for students and teachers' books, prepared planning calendars, pre-written tests and available resources with computer and internet access.

Long-term Orientation Schedule: Wednesday, April 18, 2018. The teacher will participate in orientation workshops before the cycle begins and will acclimatise to the spas and accommodation.

The instructor teaches at least four subjects a day and can ask for additional classes and tutorials. New York ELC is a not-for-profit organization and teachers can not earn much money on international standards, but they earn enough income to live comfortably in Ecuador and to gain teaching experience and cultural exchange.



Other benefits include weekly paid salary, discounted accommodation, and free wireless internet access. Visas and airplane fares are teachers' responsibility.



I usually only have 15 students or less per classroom. Unlike other academies in New York City, it boasts personalized attention.



The city on the Machala coast uses nature reserves and boats on the beach at Jambeli.

I can offer a house here at $ 100 per month for it. Bed, kitchen area, separate bedroom with upstairs lounge, shared fridge, hot water and internet. I pay every week.



Visas can be issued officially, ie a tourist visa valid for 3 months.

However, there is one way to extend your visa to stay for another few months

1) Fill in the form paying $ 125 at the local immigration bureau.





Machala is on the coast and so is hot.



How to access: There are three types of airports. You can enter Ecuador's one-way ticket completely. Ecuadorian people are not really questioning very seriously.



Ecuador Marche Laga Way: from Quito / Guayaquil. Because the new airport in Quito has recently moved, it is recommended to go to Quito for a bus ride to Guayaquil where it is possible to expensive. Also flying to Madrid in Madrid, another flight to Ecuador it sometimes works a little cheaply. Bus to Machala from Guayaquil or Quito
