Laureate Vocational Saudi Arabia (LVSA) is part of the award-winning international university (www.laureate.net) network, which is one of the world's leading provider of universities. More than one million students from more than 70 institutions in 25 countries are trained. The activation of 450 employees and LVSA is currently in Saudi Arabia in 2009, with nine schools of Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Al Kharj (Riyadh south) Al Medina, Arwadi Dawaser Al Nammas and Buraydah. These vocational schools provide two to three years of technical training programs for Saudi Arabian students aged 18 to 23, with varying levels of vocational qualifications.

Job Description

English teachers are responsible for facilitating English acquisition in a charming learning environment that prepares young Saudis for Cambridge PET certification to gain access to multicultural workforce in Saudi Arabia, where they have completed their future professional English studies.

Required job

Teach 25 hours of contact time per week, cover classes as needed
Create effective lesson plans and complementary learning materials
Write formal and informal reviews
Supervise the student's evaluation and otherwise participate
Provide meaningful feedback to students
Accurately display and report student results
Participation in ministerial discussions
Attended a professional development meeting
Participate in PET auditor training
Collaboration with graduate school teachers in the ESP course
Perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications and experience required

Bachelor's degree (if the degree is relevant, the education internship transcript is considered equivalent to CELTA). A Master's degree is preferred
CELTA (TESOL, TEFL and TESL qualifications will be completed for at least six hours of classes, which are only allowed if they are combined with English-related subjects and certifications in the classroom at least 120 hours)
At least three years of post-secondary teaching experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia (no part-time or individual)
Your native language must submit IELTS 7.5 Academic for contract validation.

Required skills

Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Proven ability in culturally diverse situations
Ability to respond positively to changing environments
Flexibility and Motivation in Pressure and Closure
Excellent communication skills and a strong enthusiastic team player
It is desirable to be familiar with educational skills (IWB, Moodle, Web Quests)
